Yesterday Miss Riley graduated from the ECI Keep Pace program. It's an early childhood intervention program sponsored by the Federal Government that sent therapists into our home to work with Riley. And they worked miracles!
We had a couple other therapists through the program but Miss Kari and Miss Christy were our constants and our miracle workers! Christy was her Physical Therapist since August of 2009 and Kari was her Developmental Therapist since November of 2009. For around 2 years these incredible women have come to see Riley once a week. They have become dear friends and have helped Riley make HUGE strides!
We gave each of them a small plaque yesterday saying "where there is great love, there is always miracles." That describes what they have done perfectly! They have been a big part of "my village" in helping Riley. And I will forever be grateful for what they have done!
