Our little family of three had such a fantastic time at the zoo and Hermann Park! We bundled up and then took our time strolling through the zoo. We watched the elephants play even more then usual for quite awhile. Then we did something amazing that the girls have been asking to do forever! We fed the giraffes! It was incredible! Both girls weren't even scared and loved the darling Mikey who wrapped his long purple tongue around each of our lettuce leaves. We each fed him about 3 leaves. Keagan even got Mikey kisses on her hand! It was quick but definitely unforgettable for all of us!
Then after their favorite carousel ride, I even let them ride the train in Hermann Park! Well it is Christmas Adam after all. We topped off the day with feeding the ducks and talking and laughing in the cold yet gorgeous weather!
The day was straight out of a Hallmark movie! Celebrating Christmas Adam with my two girls was down right fantastic old fashioned fun! And the best part was the many hugs and "thank you so much mommy!"s that I got today! That alone will do me in every time!
