Happy 70th Birthday to the greatest man I've ever known! Every single day I miss him and wish he was still here to hug me, give me advice and spoil my girls! It's been over 6 years and it still hurts so tremendously.
I went to his grave today in the freezing cold weather. I stood there with tears spilling out of my eyes when the funniest thing popped into my mind. It was something I hadn't heard or said in years. And it was exactly what he would have said!! "It's colder then a witches tit out here!" I could almost hear him saying it and then laughing at his own joke. It made me smile and get back in the car.
