24 Days of Christmas

For our weekly Monday night Family Home Evening tonight we talked about the real meaning of Christmas and how our Savior gave us the greatest gift. It is quite adorable to hear a six year old's cute versions of the stories of Jesus!

We decided for the next 24 days before Christmas we are going to do acts of service to give as gifts back to our Savior. We will mark each day's service acts on one of these gift tags and hang them all on the wall together.

Then as a little extra bonus, the girls will get chocolate from the traditional advent calendar if they've done their service. Tonight's service was giving Nana some small gifts and some extra love. Can't wait to see what else we will accomplish in the next 23 days!

And yes, in case you were wondering Riley is wearing her Halloween costume in the picture. She definitely wears it to sleep every night because you know I love laundry. Maybe laundry can be one of the days of service! I wish!
