A Beast!

We have been fighting a Beast of an illness this week at our house! Last week Riley tested positive for strep. Thankfully she responded quickly to the antibiotics and we were still able to have a good weekend. On Friday Keagan's bestie Lauren came over to play and Saturday was spent at my besties house. All day Saturday we cleaned out the French's garage and then had a super fun dinner with the Fosters around Miss Taryn's new dining room table! Church was great on Sunday and then we enjoyed some time outside in our typical crazy after church dress up outfits! 

But by Monday momma did not feel well at all! I left work early on Monday and then I didn't do much more then sleep and throw up until Thursday morning! I was fighting my own case of strep while Miss Taryn was SO kind and took the girls, fed them and brought them home clean at bed time. She even had to take them to the mall with her one night! The girls had such a blast those two nights and I am SO thankful she was willing to do that! 

Finally by Thursday I thought we were all going to survive this beast! So we all went to school Friday and that was just in time for a really fantastic day! 

Riley's amazing teachers organized and hosted the best Thanksgiving feast! We had such a ball with her teachers and friends! And then we were all able to help decorate the beautiful Mahaffey Christmas tree! Both girls made unique ornaments in their classes and just happened to hang them on the tree very close to each other at different times. Riley made a cute reindeer out of a jingle bell and Keagan melted crayon pieces inside a beautiful irradecent bulb. So much fun! 

Both girls brought home darling thanksgiving placemats so we are now officially ready for the holiday, a week off school/work and some serious fun with family! Or shall I say, now that the beast is gone we are ready!!
