Gallery Furniture

What a random and seriously fun day we had today at Houston's most famous furniture store, Gallery Furniture. Who knew it could be such a fun spot for kids! A great Facebook group I follow called BigKidSmallCity hosted the fun event that 50 kids were able to attend. It was all FREE (hallelujah!), most of it was in the air conditioning (double hallelujah!) and we had a fantastic time!

Big thanks to "Mattress Mac" the long time Houston celebrity, for letting us all crash his store! He was so sweet to the girls!


The girls got to take a ride in a horse drawn buggy. We loved the beautiful horse "Frenzy" and both girls got to use their princess wave!








After a hula hoop dance party was the silly monkeys who for reals wear diapers! And then all the amazing birds. Riley was happy to pet the bird "Bahjuh" and Miss Keagan built up the courage to let him sit on her shoulder! I was super proud!











Then we got some popcorn and relaxed on some furniture after a photo opp growling on the bear!





Next was crafts and drivin around the store in the cool cars!





And finally we were given free Papa Johns pizza for lunch! We were there for awhile and we didn't even take advantage of the huge indoor playground, the 9 queen sized beds they have pushed together that you can jump on or the free Bluebell ice cream! But all the staff was incredibly nice and said that is all available everyday and to come back anytime! We had SO much fun today that I am just going to have to take them up on that offer!
