After Riley had therapy this morning we were going to go for a long walk, swim and have dinner with the Frenchs. And we accomplished most of that. But while we were on a long walk and after the kids had played at the park, the skys opened and it down poured right on us! And I mean poured! One of those torrential Texas rains. Within a minute we were all soaked to the bone so we made a memory of it and splashed about! My girls absolutely loved it!
Then obviously swimming was out, but we did make a fun dinner. Homemade pizza pockets and then the girls made yummy cupcakes for dessert.
I'm thinkin this first day of summer was probably indicative of how the rest of the summer may go. Hopefully the rest of it turns out this good!
