2 Nephi 31:20 in the Book of Mormon
"Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life."
One of my favorite scriptures! Isn't it a good one? My thoughts on this the past couple days...
Another way to say "endure to the end" might be "continue improving to the end." Just give it the best you got! Every day, every choice. And when you don't make the best choice be grateful for the gift of repentance to take advantage of and get back on track!
Elder Marvin J Ashton said "the speed with which we head along the straight and narrow path isn't as important as the direction in which we are traveling."
And
"Enduring to the end" is more than merely surviving white knuckled. It is living the gospel with all of your heart and making the best decisions possible with each choice. It is also truly enjoying our blessings and being thankful for the rewarding journey through this life.
Here's to enduring to the end for all of us!
