It's a beautiful, all be it still much too warm Saturday morning. The Keags and Rys want to play outside and that leads to wanting to drive the pink Cadillac their dad bought them. Since Riley knows how to drive now, we take turns. But Keags is much better at the turn taking then Rys. So when Keagan vacates the drivers seat to come ask me a question, Riley seizes the opportunity. She scoots into the drivers seat and floors the gas. But she's still not too swift on the whole steering thing so she RUNS OVER HER SISTER! Like for reals! She has knocked Keagan to the ground and the car is now covering half of Keagans body! And of course, being Keagan, she is screaming at the top of her lungs. Riley on the other hand is laughing hysterically and still has not taken her foot of the gas so the wheels are still spinning wildly as they scrape the bottom of Keagans chin! Once I get Riley quickly and completely out of the car I can finally get Keagan out from under it. Besides all the tears, the biggest disappointment was I didn't get it all on tape! We seriously could have won Americas Funniest Videos!
After lots of tears, lots of Riley signing "sorry" and four bandaids we were able to move on with our day. And once we got that out of the way, there was no more drama in the day. Keags got a haircut for the first time in well over a year. She cut 3 inches off and that was a lot to ask of her. Then we had a fun lunch with that darling Riesberger family. And then we traipsed around the mall for far too long with stops at the carousel twice, the playground, dippin dots and our highlight of playing with and holding the puppies!
