Petri Dishes and Parties!

The Kikuchi girls were sick again this week! That broken record is getting seriously old!! Ear infections, bronchitis, strep, asthma, antibiotics and steroids. It ALL stinks! Especially calling in sick to work and the girls missing school! I HATE that!! It has been kind of embarrassing what a petri dish we have been lately! But hopefully we are on the mend now!

In between coughing we still had a fun week! Monday we were happy to celebrate Addie's birthday at Shogun with her! And then for our Family Home Evening I took the girls to Baskin Robbins per their pleading.

Tuesday the girls learned how to make bread with this cute bunch at Activity Days! And then they both proceeded to have full sick melt downs that night!

On Wednesday we finally got all our meds and rested up! When you already take life saving medications everyday and you get sick it is ridiculous all the meds your mom needs to try and get in your little body!

On Thursday Keags was back to school and turned in her awesome family STEM project! The amazing Mrs Noble even posted my little engineer on Twitter.

Thursday was also the 1st day of December and the begining of our Light The World service projects this year! We are doing some type of service every day in December to be more like our Savior and light the world. To kick it off on Thursday we took pizza, goodies, and some Christmas decorations to a firehouse! The girls were so excited that "the chief" was a girl and it was super fun saying thank you for all they do!

December 1st also meant Elmer came back!

On Friday Riley and I laid on the couch ALL day!!

We were resting up and praying everyone felt good enough for the girls birthday party today! And thankfully we all made it!

Obviously it is well after the girls birthday for a party. And their baptism and dinner was their big birthday celebration with all our family and church friends. But they both have been begging non stop to have a party with their school friends. So their dad chipped in the money, we picked a place that would do most of the work, and today was the day for that!

All together they had 18 friends to party with! We went to Tomball Bowl for bowling, pizza, cake and ice cream. I think they all had a blast! Keagan's lane was a little rowdy and competitive and Riley loved sitting on the floor with Sa waiting for her turn. They have such a darling group of friends that were all so sweet! Mrs Meghan made a fantastic cake and cupcakes and lots of mommy's work friends plus Sa, Aunt Kari and Kennedy were all there to help too. It really was a great two hours to celebrate and then we didn't even have to clean up! Instead we went to see "Moana" with the Ginn's and had an awesome time! That's my kind of party!

  1. I just absolutely love your blogs! You are so amazing and inspiring! You are so kind and loving, and it shows in your sweet babies! They are just amazing kids! I absolutely love how much Keegan takes care of Riley, and how much Riley is always smiling, even when you can tell she isn't feeling well. Keep on keeping on, in His name! Sweet blessings Lady!
