All three Kikuchi girls have looked forward to Thursday nights where we gathered with other families who fight some similar battles that we do. It has been a safe place to be just who we are as a family and celebrate what these sweet kids CAN do and not what they can’t. Thursday nights at Klein Park was such a positive and heart warming night, even tonight when it was 50 degrees outside!
We have really appreciated the sweet teenagers who have volunteered their time to be buddies, our awesome Coach Tiffany, the organizers of the league, and everyone who has been part of Riley’s loud and loving cheering section! Tonight that cheering section was Gamas and Nana like most games and lots of other friends too! Mrs Merillat, Mrs Brown, Mrs Castor, Mrs Krenek and Lauren, Mrs Ostermann and Will and Audrey all sacrificed their nights to support these amazing Angels! We are so blessed with the most incredible family and friends!
I sure have loved witnessing Riley learn the game and cherish it! I have loved watching her run as fast as she can and stomp those feet right on the bases! I have loved how every time she would stop between 3rd and home to make sure all her fans were watching her score! I loved how amazing, hard working and helpful Keagan was as a bat girl, Riley’s helper and cheerleader. I loved seeing Keagan sincerely cheer for and befriend all of the special kids there each week! And I sure loved the friendships and support that was made and/or strengthened each game!
I just really loved that Angels team and Superstar baseball! Now when does spring ball season start?!
