Wish Trip Day 4

Is she always so happy? That’s the question I get asked at least twice a week. Or another version is does she always smile this much? Well believe it or not I don’t think I have ever seen Riley as happy as she was today! With each princess that she met there was absolute delight on her face and pure joy in her heart! She truly cherished meeting each one of them including Belle, Aerial, Rapunzel, Tiana, Snow White, Aurora, Jasmine and of course her favorite Cinderella! There are no words to express how fun it was to watch her meet each one! This, today, meeting all of them was what we came here for. Riley’s wish was fulfilled today and she loved every single minute of it! We both did!

Several of the princesses we met when we had a very special dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table which means we ate inside the castle with Cinderella’s friends and participated in the Wish Ceremony!  But we were also happy to go find the others! Keagan enjoyed it too and loved getting princess hugs but she definitely stayed back and let Riley totally shine and savor it all! There are NO words to tell you how big my heart must have swelled today!

And the princesses of all princesses in Riley’s eyes...Cinderella. I thought Riley’s heart was going to jump right out of her body! She was that excited! Cinderella welcomed us to her castle, compared dresses with Riley, gave her a million hugs and told Riley she loved her! For my sweet girl it truly does not get any better then that!

And she did it all while being dressed up as a princess herself! It took us two hours to get in the park this morning so we almost missed our appointments at the Bippity Boppity Boutique! But our two Fairy Godmothers were still waiting and created such a magical (albeit expensive) experience for both girls. Keagan has said for days she didn’t want to do it but once she saw it she changed her mind. Unfortunately for the wallet she didn’t last long with her dress and hair because apparently they aren’t good for riding rollercoasters, that cute daredevil girl. But Riley is currently sleeping in her dress!

Once in their chosen princess dress, Riley as Cinderella and Keagan as Belle of course, they sat with their Fairy Godmother to be pampered just like a princess with hair, make up, nails, and a whole lot of glitter! The package came with the dress, tiara, septer, nail polish, make up, a cinch bag, a royal carriage necklace and after buying all that their dad still bought them the cutest princess sweat shirt to wear under their dresses and cute bracelets. There was lots of royal talk, praise for “your highness” and they even called me the queen! Both girls really loved the pampering and afterwards we did a mini photo shoot. Magical! But FYI there is glitter everywhere

But the princessesweren’t the only ones we were thrilled to meet today! We had some serious pixie dust and met Daisy, Minnie and Donald too! We went to Pete’s Silly Side Show Circus and the cast member Elizabeth took us straight in the back and cut straight to the front of the line for pictures and autographs! And the best part is Riley seriously hugged each one of them! She must have been on a princess high! Whatever it was I was thrilled!

Elizabeth also gave us a whole bunch of stickers and Keagan had a ball trying to give them away to little kids! How incredibly sweet is that?! And she also had an AMAZING time riding rollercoasters and other fun rides! She sure loves them rollercoaters! She is SO strong and brave! Seven Dwarfs Mine Train(twice) Space Mountain, the Barnstormer and Big Thunder Mountain were all big hits for my amazing girl!

We went on so many more rides too that it’s kind of crazy just how much we got done in 12 hours there! We did everything from the tea cups to speedway to Space Ranger Spin, Its a Small World and SO much more!!

And because it’s an incredible day at Magic Kingdom we had lots of other special moments in the happiest place on earth!  Some of those moments included yummy treats of course! In Enchanting Tales with Belle Keagan was picked to be Mrs Potts and Riley was Chip. Their dad was even picked to be a knight. We were in the right place at the right time to meet the evil step sisters. Riley got a Cinderella face paint. At the end of an amazing dinner we sang “happy wish Trip” to Riley and the girls decorated their own cupcakes for dessert. And Im pretty sure Keags and Rys may even think grabbing a quick breakfast from the breakfast cart this morning was great!

Besides all of that, the day was also spent doing some souvenir shopping, taking pictures with all the amazing back drops everywhere you look and just straight up laughing!

And finally there is nothing like ending the absolute most incredible day by watching the fireworks from the other end of the ferry stop for a great view and easy exit before the crowds and then a late night trip to McDonalds! We were at Magic Kingdom for over 12 hours, accomplished so much, and pretty much could spend another month there or longer! Just perfect.

From beginning to end, all that I’ve mentioned or photographed and all that I haven’t, today was the day dreams are made of! And that would be Riley’s dreams in particular, and quite honestly Keagan’s dreams too. Both of their dreams came true today when the whole day was sprinkled with pixie dust! Or maybe that is the glitter, I can’t tell the difference at this point. But I know a thrilled little girl when I see one and thankfully I’ve got two of those! What a gloriously magical day!

  1. You probably don't want to hear this but I think your ex is terribly cute. It's so sweet that Keagan looks so much like him and Riley looks like a combination of you and your ex mother in law. Whenever I see him I pray that our Heavenly Father could/would heal your marriage. I can't help being a romantic. Sorry.
