Wish Trip Day 3

One literally ran into the arms of Princess Anna and one rode Test Track three times in a row! My girls both said today was the best day of their lives! So of course that means it was one of mine too!

We spent the day at Epcot and it was absolutely incredible!! There truly is just no place on earth like Disneyworld and Epcot proved that to us again today! I feel like I keep repeating that everything we are doing is magical but it honestly is! Maybe I should go with enchanting today because I’ve outplayed awesome, amazing and incredible too. I guess there just aren’t enough adjectives to describe Riley Kikuchi’s Make a Wish trip! Pixie dust!! Today was sprinkled with Pixie Dust!

By far the highlight of Riley’s day was meeting Princess Anna and Queen Elsa. And it was mine too! The cast members took us to a back door and made a phone call. Before we knew it we were being led into the room which they shut done for 15 whole minutes just for us!! As soon as Riley turned the corner she literally ran into Anna’s open arms! And big hugs for Elsa quickly followed. And of course Keagan was right behind her. They talked with Elsa first and took pictures and then with Anna. Both girls were completely star struck so Elsa and Anna did most of the talking. With Elsa they talked about what fun things Olaf could do in Texas and Anna talked about ice skating and sharing her chocolate with the girls! It was AMAZING!!!! When I was videoing I was trying to stop shaking because I was SO excited!! Riley gave each of them like 10 hugs including turning around as we were leaving for one more! Total pixie dust right?! We came out of there in total shock and wonder of what just happened! Riley had a smile even bigger then usual and a twinkle in her eye! I will never forget her running to greet them! The pictures are so great they almost capture it! Riley left with a stuffed baby Elsa to cuddle with and remember the magic!

I will also never forget how much Keagan loved Test Track and her excitement and exclamations after each of the three times she rode it! Everything about it is right up Keagan’s alley! Design your own car, test it with speed on a rollercoaster and compete to have the best is a winning combination for her! All four of us went on the first round. Riley took a little convincing but she did like it and was SO proud of herself for going! But she wasn’t interested in doing it again like Keagan who did it two more times and could have gone again if we had time! During her third trip with her dad, Riley and I picked out a cute pin of Mickey riding on Test Track and Riley was thrilled to give it to her! She had to have something to remember her magic too!

We had a great time riding other rides too! Soarin and Frozen Ever After were huge hits and we liked Living with the Land and Grand Fiesta Tour. We all loved Nemo and Friends, all the aquariums and Turtle Talk with Crush too! Seriously SO much fun!!

Ok I know Riley’s far looks bad in that picture but I promise she really loved the Frozen Ever After ride!

This is a recreation of an exact picture she took when she was 3!

Loved that manatee!

And there was so much more magic today! A huge one was when we’re just walking out of the Frozen ride and bump into one of Riley’s teachers! We have lots of friends and even Aunt Kari here for Marathon Weekend but we didn’t think we would see any of them! That was priceless! We also had the cutest chat with Santa who let the girls pick one of his special coins. Of course we had Disney popcorn and chocolate dipped Mickey ice cream on a stick! And we even tried all kinds of soda from around the world in the Cool Club! Melon frost from Thailand was our fave!

We had a hilarious moment at lunch when her dad asked Keagan to get a few napkins! And Miss Riley took a little nap at lunch as she still has a little cough. But both girls are being such great troopers with very little whining and lots of laughter, hugs and thank you’d to make this whole experience even that much sweeter!

We ended the day in Canada in the World Showcase for a nice dinner at Le Cellier Steakhouse. Pretzel rolls dipped in cheddar soup, lobster Mac and cheese and filet mignon topped off such an incredible day at Epcot!

As we were very tired and leaving we caught the awesome fireworks! My phone was dead by then so no pictures but those fireworks were probably full of pixie dust because that is what had fallen on us all day! Another day of amazing and tomorrow is the big day to meet Cinderella! I seriously can not wait for Rileys real wish to come true! As if this post isn’t long and detailed enough I’m sure tomorrow’s will be crazy! I’m thankful I have been able to record all that we have experienced so we never ever forget! But there just isn’t enough words to contain the amazing of all that this trip is! Once again the closest word is magic so I guess that will just have to do!

  1. Love that pic of you and Keagan with the big smiles. As much as she looks like her dad, she looks an awful lot like you too. That lucky little girl has the best of each of you.
