Special Olympics

At school today, Riley had a Special Olympics event that was so much fun! It was a way to start introducing the "young athletes" to the program that they will be eligible for when they turn 8. Because of the rain, it was in her class room. All the parents came and Miss McGown and Miss Kramer really made it special. Riley earned a t-shirt, a ribbon and a medal by doing the different exercises and obstacle courses. We both had so much fun and she was thrilled with her new prizes! And of course the provided snack too!
